We are growing and looking to add a Selling Arborist/Certified Arborist to our team of experts! The Selling Arborist/Certified Arborist is responsible for the success of the branch in the areas of safety, profitability, and general operations, and continue to grow both commercial and residential sales.
Responsibilities
• Able to relay exact crew production numbers for the day, week, and month
• Arrive prior to crew start time and be present upon their return for the day
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are maintained with a clean appearance and ensure all required paperwork in vehicles is up to date and any outages are reported
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies
• Ensure crews are completing all assigned work properly and have been informed of any new changes
• Communicate with customers and project coordinator to schedule work and review completed work for the day
• Run estimates and provide to the customer the same day
• Proactively communicate with customers and address customer issues
• Prospect for new customers
• Communicate production goals and conduct performance reviews with field staff
• Ensure Skills Assessment are being conducted at the proper time- i.e.: 90 days, 1 year
• Ensure billing is accurate and completed on time
Qualifications
• 3+ years “green” industry experience
• ISA Certified Arborist Certification preferred
• TDA Applicator’s license preferred
• Extensive knowledge of tree and plant care industry and department operations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate co-workers and direct reports
• Basic math skills and understanding of business financials
