Operations Manager – Houston
To oversee and organize the daily production of daily office and
crew division tasks while being able to handle all issues that
arise. Key function of this position is to implement policy and
procedures that balance safety standards with revenue
production needs of the Company. Operations managers will be
responsible to ensure proper evaluation of the job sites and
scope of work in order to plan schedules, production, equipment,
needs and safety requirements appropriately. Leading tree care
crews enforce policies and procedures; facilitate the importance
of teamwork and harmony among office and tree care crews.
Other functions will include hiring, training and evaluating job
performance and performing disciplinary actions. Must be able to
teach skilled tree climbing, pruning, tree removal, and stump
grinding in accordance with ANSI standards.
● Must foster positive attitude, good people skills, good communication skills, good
customer service skills to create an effective work environment between clients,
crew and office staff
● Experience in arboriculture, horticulture, or related field is preferred but not
required
● Team leadership or management experience desired
● Self-motivated and able to work independently with excellent general computer
skills
● Punctual, Organized, and excellent problem solver
● Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
● Certified Arborist a plus but not required
