Forestry Technician, City of Austin’s Public Works Department

This position will work in the Public Works Department Urban Forestry Group. This position will assist in a wide variety of right-of-way (ROW) maintenance, including cutting grass, picking up debris, tree care on public properties, and general landscaping duties. This position will also respond to citizen and customer complaints and requests for service.
The Forestry Technician will be required to operate light and heavy motorized equipment to plant, prune, and care for trees and grass on public properties.
