Forestry Inspector or Forestry Inspector Senior – Austin
Overview of the Position:
The Forestry Inspector position, under limited supervision of the Public Works Department (PWD) Forestry Program Manager or Coordinator, will support a tree and vegetation management program within the Community Services Division to ensure safe and functional Right-of way within the city limits. This position will inspect tree and vegetation maintenance issues, update records, coordinate with contractors, and communicate with citizens on private tree and vegetation issues.
In addition to the above, the Forestry Inspector Senior position, under minimal supervision, will oversee quality control, as well as provide leadership, work assignments, evaluation, and guidance to others.
