Classroom topics will include: wood anatomy, tree biomechanics, the effects of pruning and cabling, and possibilities and limitations of technical inspection methods. Outdoor hands-on field time with Frank and his assistant will include: resistance drilling, sonic tomography and sonic root plate assessment.
