You will gain an understanding of the basic mechanisms of drought tolerance and insight into tree mortality from drought, giving you practical strategies for managing trees in urban spaces. Dr. Hirons will also share his latest research on using specific plant traits to improve tree selection decisions for challenging urban sites.
