Each year many Texas Chapter ISA members, friends and supporters have graciously donated items to be sold at our Scholarship Fund Silent Auction for our annual Texas Tree Conference in Waco. All proceeds from the auction go to local research, scholarships for arboriculture and urban forestry students, as well as other state-wide urban forestry/arboriculture initiatives. Because of the challenges imposed by the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and mandated social distancing requirements that must be followed, the Silent Auction Committee has decided to cancel this year’s auction. Understanding the important role our annual Silent Auction plays in supporting arboriculture and urban forestry students, we are asking you to consider making a monetary donation to the Texas Chapter ISA Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to full time forestry and arboriculture students so they may attend our conference/academy.
Your donation of $60.00 will allow the Texas Chapter ISA to continue to support students and promote the professional practice of arboriculture, and foster greater public awareness of the benefits of trees.
