Urban Forester – City of San Marcos
Responsible for the development, coordination, implementation and oversight of a citywide comprehensive and progressive urban forestry program. Collaborates with City Departments, develops strategies, and manages development and maintenance of the City’s forestry program and street trees and forests within San Marcos city limits. Reviews, revises, and enforces city tree ordinances; plans and directs new tree plantings and maintenance of city trees. Flexible schedule is required to accommodate projects, emergency events and evening meetings.
