Full-Time Climbing Arborist -HES Facilities-Waco
SUMMARY: Maintain trees and shrubs, through systematic pruning and integrated pest management as part of an overall plant health care program for the landscape at a client site in the southwest region of the United States. Supervise and perform daily, specialty tasks such as cabling, bracing, and safe removals of trees. Maintain digital records of plant health assessments, removal inventory, and related storm damage.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned): The primary responsibility of the Climbing Arborist (1 year experience) is to perform daily operations related to the maintenance of trees. Essential aspects of this position include: 1. Performs tree maintenance operations 2. Ability to operate motor vehicles, lift/move equipment, materials, supplies and tools; climbing gear, wear protective clothing as required by client and company.3 Required to follow all company, client, and regulatory agency policies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: One year of Arborist tree climbing experience required. High school diploma preferred. 1 year of tree climbing experience while performing tree pruning and rigging required. Drag and chip limbs safely and efficiently. Chainsaw and bucket truck experience. Willing to get ISA certified within 2 years. Daily tool maintenance. Safety.
