Foreman – Houston

The purpose of this position is to manage the crew daily, including ensuring efficiency and safety

Qualifications:

  1. Teachable
  2. Attention to detail
  3. Positive attitude and good problem solver
  4. Comfortable with multi-tasking but able to focus without being easily distracted

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervises and manages crew; leads by example
  2. Ensures that each crew member is trained appropriately for each designed job assignment
  3. Participates in and conducts all job site safety briefings with crew members
  4. Ensures that each crew member utilizes all required person protective equipment
  5. Understands and instructs crew members on proper job site security procedures; participates in all safety training sessions
  6. Ensures that all tree work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards
  7. Ensures that all equipment safety and maintenance procedures are followed
  8. Interacts with clientele in order to help ensure job satisfaction
  9. Supervises all crew members during the performance of all assigned work
  10. Reports for duty at the designated location on time each day
  11. Follows directions from supervisor and text estimating job duration for each job
  12. Communicates well with all crew members, supervisors and client
  13. Monitors all tools equipment and machinery for needed maintenance
  14. Track and record all job expenses and hours worked accurately
  15. Maintain clean safe job site

  4. Bilingual a must
  5. CDL Required with airbrake endorsement
  6. Required knowledge of crane/ grapple loader
