POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position will serve as an Arborist located in the Metro Water Services Stormwater Division. The primary duty of this position will be to assist in managing Metro Nashville’s urban forest in the Metro Nashville right-of-way and on public properties. This position will work with a senior arborist on tree inventories, tree planting projects, and tree inspections. This position will work with the Root Nashville partnership to plant 500,000 trees in Davidson County by 2050.

The position will work in the field and office environment which may involve moderate risk and/or discomforts. The position will require some physical exertion and the employee must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
