Texas’ own outstanding plant pathologist will explain everything you need to know about the many factors that impact tree disease development. Take a deep dive into the relationships between tree hosts, pathogens, and all the things that create the environment where disease happens.

Water and Weeds: An Approach to Integrated Weed Management
Dr. Becky Bowling, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension
Our Dallas based water specialist will discuss the impact of irrigation practices, rainfall, and soil characteristics on weed ecology and herbicide movement in urban greenspaces. You will learn how to modify cultural practices to reduce weed pressure and minimize off-target movement of herbicides through runoff as well as volatilization and drift with an emphasis on preventing tree injury.

Water and Pesticide Labels

The label is the law and one of the goals of the law is protecting the environment. With a focus a few key sections of pesticide labels, you will learn how to use label information to improve pesticide program efficacy while protecting water resources.
