Restoration is an important step in building and sustaining natural habitats. Within the greenhouse at Precinct 4’s Dennis Johnston Park, we have been growing Black Willow branches to help restore the banks along the Spring Creek Greenway. Black Willow is easy to propagate and quick to grow. Learn more about this erosion-prevention technique, as well as plant propagation. This is a great opportunity to get your hands dirty while helping support our local habitat. We hope you can join us to make an impact!
