Dr. Dwivedi is a professor and Hillard Endowed Chair in Sustainable Forestry at Clemson University. He has published 151 research articles across reputed refereed journals. The majority of his research articles are from his lab only. He has successfully secured almost $8.5 million to support his research as a faculty member. Currently, he is advising 2 postdoctoral research associates, 8 doctoral students and three Master’s students. His research spans across policy and economics of forest-based ecosystem services, sustainable bioenergy development, family forest landowners, and conservation policy and practices. He has won several awards for his research, including the prestigious Sustainable Forest Initiative Forest Conservation Award in 2024. He is regularly interviewed by various media outlets, including a recent article in the Wall Street Journal. He lives in Watkinsville, Georgia, with his wife of 17 years and two daughters. In his free time, he reads current affairs, works in his kitchen garden, and learns new software/hardware skills.
