What is Eating our Trees? – An Emerald Ash Borer Workshop – Tyler

March 29, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

Overview: Emerald Ash Borer is an invasive insect that has attacked and killed the ash tree populations in communities throughout several Northeastern states in North America. It has been on a pathway towards Texas for several years and was recently confirmed in one Eastern County. At this workshop, subject matter experts Dr. Dave Coyle, Dr. Fredric Miller, and Emmett Muennink will discuss – Where EAB is now, what to expect, and how to manage and mitigate its effects. This workshop is for community public works or parks and recreation managers, certified arborists and tree care companies, and the general homeowner with an ash tree in their yard.
